Coaching Leaders To Reach Their Full Potential

I’ve been there – and so have you – worrying that:

  • You’re not good enough
  • You must try harder
  • You’re not cut out to lead

Rest assured. You already have everything you need to be the leader you aspire to be.

Coping With the Challenges of Leadership

Leadership at any level brings additional responsibility, new challenges, and a pressure to perform at your very best for your sake and the sake of others.

That certainly is what I’ve experienced over nearly four decades in business.

And what I observe as an executive coach and professional mentor.

The facts are stark:

40%

40% of managers & executives 'always' or 'often' feel exhausted or stressed.
According to Deloitte's 2024 Well-being at Work Survey 40% of executives feel stressed. 71% of the C-suite would consider moving for better well-being.

60%

Organisations miss out on 60% of their peoples’ true potential.
According to Sir John Whitmore, organisations tap into just 40% of their peoples’ true potential. The other 60% is held back by ignorance and fear.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

My mission is to help people lead with impact and perform to their full potential without overwork and overwhelm.

Performance Is About More Than Results

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always striven to be a top performer.

In commercial roles with P&L responsibility, results matter.

So, I worked tirelessly to achieve the best possible results.

I constantly asked myself:

Am I performing at my very best?

Am I getting the best performance from my team?

And yet – until recently –  I never asked myself these important questions:

The Most Important Coaching Questions for Impact & Performance

Am I learning and growing as a person?

Am I engaged and energised by the company’s vision and values?

Am I giving full expression to my unique skills and talents?

Am I helping or hindering others?

Am I fulfilling my full potential as a leader?

Through coaching I explored these questions and finally set myself on the road to becoming a better leader and a better person.

Now, I work as a coach to help others get the best out of themselves.

And to create the conditions for their people to realise their full potential.
